Consent in one-sided attachment
Whether a bond to somebody who does not know you exists can be a rights question at all.
The genuinely unsolved one. A relationship with no other party is not obviously covered by any consent framework, and the absence of a framework is where the harm goes. The elder-care analogy is the one that makes people uncomfortable and it is the one that fits.
