Cancelling
Organised refusal to engage with a person, usually a public figure, over something they said or did.
Legitimate tactic and a grievance mechanism, and the two are indistinguishable from the inside. The parasocial frame helps: cancelling is a bond being withdrawn, and withdrawal is a thing bonded people do.
