The god whose cult was dismantled from above
A deity whose central ritual was the daily offering, who was consistently characterised, unreachable, and then had the whole arrangement closed by the pharaoh who had promoted it.
A deity is somebody with a biography you can get wrong, inside a system that expects worship rather than retelling - and this one has the rarest property available: the character was fully specified, the ritual was daily and public, and the figure was never once reachable. Then the system was dismantled and the figure was erased from the record. That is what separates a deity from a story character, and it is why the myth figure told about is a different technology from the god served.
