I keep coming back to the one line in here that is diagnosis rather than reassurance. Dr King says we mourn unfulfilled potential - the music never made, the films never shot - which means celebrity grief is grief for a future, and a future cannot be buried, only carried. The practical advice is permission to look away for a while, and that may be the most honest sentence in this whole genre: nobody is grading your mourning.
