CHARACTER

The one who was never real. Fictional, played, animated, myth. Fiction is a room we rehearse feeling in. Rent is cheap. The landlord is imagination.

A woman adjusting a vintage television set. Third attempt: the first was a photograph of Saturn captioned as 'a screen, and the person watching it', the second a film-festival award badge. Both passed the must-term test. The caption had been written before the picture was chosen, which is the failure this review exists to catch.

Why fiction sticks when nothing else does

Shipping, kinning, comfort watches, and the safest place on earth to find out what you actually feel.

The only line worth drawing is where the room starts making house rules, and you can always feel that coming before you can explain it.
